ProSeries has no automatic function to do that. Best work-round is to print reports of the affected assets, delete them, combine totals outside of ProSeries, and enter a new asset.

However, if the assets have different placed-in-service dates, likely they should not be combined.

trying to dispose of 1 rental property with 5 asset worksheets (base cost and 4 renovations in diff yrs)

In that case, Intuit's Fixed Asset Manager, which interfaces with ProSeries and is available at extra cost, has the functionality you're looking for. Probably not worth the cost for a one-time deal like you are describing.

I use it for some of my farmer clients that have dozens or hundreds of assets. Pretty slick when someone sells the farm!

Thanks.  I could not understand why proseries did not have something to combine these w/s as one.  I get it now.  More money.  Thanks Again.  I will work around it.
