Can Lacerte 2019 be installed on Win 7 Computer on December 30, 2019 or January 2, 2020 and will it update through the tax season if it is installed?

You might as well lacerate your wrists if you actually try to do that.

If you don't want to be cut to ribbons running with scissors, you should probably add Lacerte to your spell check library. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Officially, Intuit says no.

AND your E&O insurance provider would likely not approve of you using an outdated, unsupported operating system....

Not to mention the IRS's position on leaving client data vulnerable....

There is some saying about running with scissors. Windows 7 will not be getting any security updates after Jan 2020, so your computer will become vulnerable.

Consider ProConnect Tax Online https://accountants-community.intuit.com/articles/1861899-system-requirements-for-proconnect-tax-onl... Internet based junior version of Lacerte. Since the data is online, there is a different vulnerability.

If you are gutsy there are articles about doing the Windows 10 upgrade for free, just be sure to do a thorough backup before trying.  Even better and less risky, consider buying a refurb computer - I see some on Amazon for less than $100 that meet the minimum Lacerte requirements.
