Copying client information to PRIOR years

Lacerte automatically forwards Client Information to the next year(s) (great!) but I don't think the same is true for the prior year(s). I have a client for whom I prepared 2017 & 2018 return, and now I just found out I need to amend his 2015 & 2016 returns. I think I will have to now manually RECREATE and RE-ENTER all Client Information for 2015 because I think Lacerte doesn't allow copying client data to prior year(s). Is this correct? If so, shouldn't this be an easy upgrade for Lacerte going forward?

@adhensha... this forum IS  "that" forum.

And itonewbie is a user of the software, just like you. Giving him a no vote for his accurate answer is rude.

We (for the most part) are just volunteers. Occasionally an Intuit employee/moderator stood by.

You are correct. If you did not prepare 2015 and 2016, you will need to recreate them in order to prepare amended returns for those years.

That's what I thought. Isn't this something Lacerte should fix to help users save time? Is there forum where one can recommend simple fixes like this?

There is, but our suggestions go into a black hole. Maybe someone will post the link. I don't bother using it anymore.

And giving Susan a "No" vote is equally rude.
@adhanesha - you don't seem to understand the function of this forum.
Slamming those just trying to help you is going to garner much goodwill 'round here.
