There is an import button on the tool bar.  Select import 1065 K-1 and you will be asked to pick the file name from a list.

Thank you everyone for the responses so far. Ok, so when I import and select the client, I get the following message, "The Shareholder's K-1 is not available for the selected return." ... What now? :smiley: Thank you:):smiley:

Double check the SSNs. They must match on 1040 and 1065 or 1120S.

There is an import button on the tool bar.  Select import 1065 K-1 and you will be asked to pick the file name from a list.

I believe there is an import button on the 1040 K-1 worksheet

Jane, did you ever get the import function to work? I have the same problem and got the same response about name/SS# not matching. I verified that they were correct and that they matched but, still no joy. Does the S-corp return have to be filed before the import function will work?
