Is there a way I can email organizers while still password protecting them? We do not want to use Intuit Link and do not like the E-Organizers.

We have tried the E-Organizers in the past and do not like them.  We are trying to provide PDF copies of the tax organizers instead of having to mail them out.  We also want to have them password protected like the tax returns are.  Is there a way to do this as a group instead of one by one?

Print them to PDF, using the "Email(PDF)" selection.  The password will automatically be the last four of the SSN (primary tax payer) plus the ZIP.

You may be able to email it directly (depending on what you use) or you may have to save that PDF somewhere.  Then draft an email using your regular email process, and attach the PDF you saved somewhere.

Maybe I didn't explain?  When I tried this, I cannot email a pdf to more than one client at a time. I want to be able to highlight and mail all of my clients with the last name A at once, with a password on each organizer.  So far, I am only able to print the organizer to DMS and create a password protected email from there.  So I have to do this one client at a time which is extremely time consuming.

And I get a no vote because YOU didn't explain what you wanted/needed?

I'm sorry, I didn't realize that the "NO" went against you.  All I was saying is no it wasn't helpful because what you offered did not work for what I was asking.

I'll live 🙂 ....perhaps you don't understand that the vast majority of us are volunteers.  We do NOT work for Intuit.  And while my solution didn't work for YOU, it did directly answer the question that you asked.  The no votes, and the fact Intuit treats this forum as a social media platform instead of a forum for professionals irks some of us.  'Specially ME :smiley:

I understand you are volunteers.  And from what I can see on your profile, you will do just fine with my 1 NO because, no, you did not assist me with the answer I was looking for.  But thank you for answering my question for others who might have the same problem.  Happy pre tax season.

But it is awfully difficult for anyone to assist folks with issues when they don't completely explain what their issue is.  It's like calling your doctor and saying your back hurts and he tells you to put on a heating pad and take a couple of Tylenol.  Of course he might have given a different answer if you had mentioned to him that you had a steak knife sticking out of your back.

I'll keep that in mind for the next time I have a question;)

That's odd, but I did cast a no vote for you, just like you asked.  I assume you did that so Anna wouldn't feel bad?

George, that is NOT helpful because you can.  You just can't the way the OP wants to do it :smiley:

"Is there a way I can do this as a group instead of one by one" which I originally read as a mass one time email to all. My turbin is on differently than yours. I would love a NO on my NO. I would think that a yes.

We use "ShareFile" by Citrix.  It seems to work well.

Hi;

Can you please tell me more about how you do that? We really want to use ShareFile - I use it all the time with my bookkeeping clients - but I don't know how to go about sending the Organizers out using ShareFile.

Thank you! Susan

He actually explained exactly what he wanted, but your answer didn't answer it. You guys are more worried about your reputation then actually helping people.

Did you ever find a solution to this? Thanks!

And you have helped how many people here?  I'll give you some time do do all of the math you need to add up all of your helpful answers and then I'll check back for the total tomorrow.  Assuming that is enough time for you to do the calculations.

Really ???  Shall we compare number of posts, and the number solved, and the number of helpful ones.

Methinks you'll lose.

We can revisit this after you've been around, and actually helped out a few times, 'kay?

I believe SickofTheCompanyThatOwnsThisSite is still tabulating those numbers.  Based on the selected name I believe Sicko (ok if we use the abbreviated name? - I hate to type more characters than I have to) might be more of a complainer than a helper, but I am willing to change my mind after I see those totals.  By the way, the clock struck midnight and the really nice me punched out for the rest of tax season.
