Im hearing impaired and need an email contact for help, again.

2019, I found Sprint IP Relay service - I text, they talk for me, text for you.  I did "call" and was asked to email the sales person instead.  I did and no confirmation/response.  Relay is slow - so people that insist on phone calls and not emails, do not like this either.  Conversations are nicer tho 😉

Wonder how many deaf peeps work for intuit?

Did Ashley reach out last year? I would hope the contact is still good.

@Ashley at Intuit (aka Henry Jr) do you have some solution for @marni
I live in Fremont, CA and the California School for the Deaf moved here in 1980. My wife was an interpreter and worked establishing an ASL class at the local Jr College. I was a lifegaurd (inside joke) in 1962-3 at the Berkeley CSD founded in 1860. I never knew until then how loud deaf children could be. I thought all of them were drowning. Best wishes to you. I hope you get a good resolution.

I am happy to email you.  I know ASL too, but it's been a LONG time since I used it, so doubt my fluency!  But yes, happy to email, sending that now @marni

I lost my hearing in a battery explosion - I am extremely sensitive to sound, my ears ring 24/7.  ASL options for adults are limited, JuCo classes with all hearing peeps that ignore u.  Youtube videos help.  I write notes to people, text, and email.  Just this week I learn about Sprint Relay services.  Previously denied service by email "protect me".  Now I can with a third party interpreter.  If you guessed they don't want to take these calls due to privacy concerns, you win.   I type, they talk for me.  You talk, they type what you say.  Full Circle - back to email?

@mojocpa - Circular logic - hard to fight.  "Have someone call for you".  Those same peeps do not like Relay calls.  "This has taken 12 min" or "I will send an email".  It is slower and there is an interpreter.  At least the frustration is more equally divided.

We get some circular logic around here at times, especially when @IRonMaN  gets involved. Feel free to ask questions here.

Chasing your tail does eventually lead down the road to circular logic.  Don't blame me - blame the tail.

@IRonMaN deflecting blame, means it is your fault.  Lose/lose deal and ambiguity is key.  A skill I do not possess.

Sorry to go off on a tangent that doesn't have anything to do with this, but that reminds me of a story that a friend told me.  My friend was telling us that his brother has always been a 'unique' type of person.  This story was when the brother was 4 or 5 years old:

They were having a fairly large party at their house, and an older child about 11 years old pushed this 4 year old brother down.  The 4 year old realized he was WAY too small to effectively retaliate by pushing back, so he immediately dropped his pants, did a very quick :poop: and THREW it at the 11 year old.

Wow.
