I do not file clients want hard copy check. Do I need a security plan as per the law/IRS?

Do I need a security plan if clients prefer hard copy check.  Pub 1345 talks about filing.  Following pub 4557 and at a standstill.  Please give some opinions.  Is there a draft  program security plan guide out there as a model.  I am a lone preparer.

Thank you, Mike

If you are referring to your client preferring paper return, yes, you should have a security plan in place as you would still possess data that may be breached if the appropriate precautionary measures are not taken.
