Where is sale of second home received as a gift? What version of Sch D?

There's only one version of Sch D.....and that info flows from F 8949.  And highly likely NOT on f 1099-B or reported to the IRS.

Bonus tip...basis for you client is the same as the basis for the personal who gave the house away.  No step-up.

abctax55, My questions was poorly worded, sorry.  I was looking for either using the Detailed Entry Worksheet or the Transaction Worksheet to record the detail.  Thank you.
