Will Lacerte provide a worksheet to determine amount of 2210 penalty reduction as a result of recent lowering of safe harbor from 85% to 80%?

Our Lacerte software is still calculating at 90% for the Safe Harbor.

I was already aware of the the Lacerte notice but nothing is suggested that Lacerte will provide an easy way to file the 843 c;laim.  I suppose we will be able to generate an updated 2210 to ascertain the reduction and then file.

Is anyone's Lacerte program calculating the 80% safe harbor on the 2210?  It was supposed to be updated for that with yesterday's release.

@Kathi_at_Intuit Oh drat! It looks like Lacerte missed another hopeful deadline.

All the new release does is check the Box A waiver and put "80% Waiver" next to it.  But if the 80% safe harbor doesn't eliminate the penalty, the software reverts back to the 90% safe harbor, it appears.  Good grief!

Well, the bare minimum was met by the deadline.
