Update just broke returns w/ dependents - populates qualifying windower information that you cannot delete

Tax1411

The update just broke returns that have dependent children. It is pulling the information from the dependent list and putting it into the qualifying widower area (Part II, Line 5 of the Federal Information Worksheet) no matter what filing status you are claiming. This seems to happen as soon as you input code L in Part III.

Deleting the information from Line 5 does not work as it will keep populating the information. Nor does deleting and reentering the dependent's information in Part III.

I'm going to take a wild guess you aren't going to be the last one to check in.

I'm having that problem also.  It seems to have occurred after the last update was installed.

It's supposed to be fixed by now.  8PM Eastern.  Update please and let us know how it works, or if something new broke; I'm afraid to update.

Communication is really lousy with Intuit. They have a duty to update if the thing isn't fixed.

Actively working to resolve? Have the programmers reverse the mistake. You haven't even fixed the billing and printing issues yet. WOW!!
