Anyone have a secret way to get through to customer support? I have just been told there is an hour wait on the phone. And no call back option....

There is no magic formula, especially for this time of the year.  Why don't you post your question here and see if someone would be able to guide you along.  Often times, you get a much quicker answer here.

I efiled a 1041 and corresponding state return yesterday.  I got the notification that Intuit had received the return.  Since then, when I check the status all I get is "No New Status Information".    I have been efiling with Proseries for many years.   It has never taken this long to get some response back.  Either, accepted by the agencies or there is an error.  When I close the program and reopen, it doesn't do they thing where it checks efile status automatically.  I think there is a technical problem.  I also haven't gotten an program updates in over 24 hours.  That seems odd.  I got technical support on the line and they didn't have a clue.  They transferred me to the tax department and I sat there for 15 minutes.  Called back from another line and was told there is an hour wait.

Also, yesterday, after efiling the return, I came back to login again and suddenly I had pictures on my screen and it said, "click all the pictures with bikes in them".....  I tried doing this but it seemed to be going in circles and so finally I just shut that window down.  I think this was the beginning of my problems.  Never seen this before.

Since it was only filed yesterday, I wouldn't worry just yet, since the agencies pull in batches (as do states) I would give it ua chance to pull down. Fed acks can take 48 hrs or so, but states can sometimes take UP TO 5 days. As far as updates in program, over 24 hours, that too is normal.  You can check status of efiled returns on your My Account also, so maybe compare to ensure everything is the same in both locations.  https://accountants-community.intuit.com/articles/1730680-checking-the-status-of-an-electronically-f...

Somebody said they got through in 25 minutes this morning.  They looked pretty honest so I don't think they were lying.

I think I do have a way.  I learned it from watching Green Acres.  But it does involve climbing up on a telephone pole and hacking into phone lines.
