Is there a solution for Ohio School District codes creating an error on 1099G? Can't overwrite or delete.

The 1099G Locality Abbreviation is automatically populated.  In Ohio, there are numerical codes for school districts.  This has not been an issue in the past, but for some reason this is now throwing an error that the code is not supported by the program and is preventing the ability to e-file. However it is not modifiable, nor can you overwrite or delete.  I sure don't have time to recreate all of these returns from scratch.  Has anyone else encountered this?  Is there a solution or a work around?

Go to the Federal Carryover Worksheet, scroll down to the last box on the left and put SDR in the empty box for the School District Locality. I have to do it on every return because all my clients have School District returns.

Doctor just arrived.  This is not my area of specialty since the part of Ohio I am an I fortunately don't have to do many School District returns.   If you type in the school district name as just "School District" and leave out the numbers can you then type in "SDR" for locality abbreviation.

My issue is with the carry forward of the previous year refund. Just as the system pulls over state refunds, it pulls the refunds from the School District as well onto the 1099G. It is auto-populated from the School District return. There is no way for me to over-ride.

Is there an update to this issue somewhere I am not seeing? I still can't get the error cleared.

Thanks!

The above solution should clear it.  Go to carry over worksheet and put in SDR on last years school amount.  This glitch has been in the program the last few years.
