ProSeries consistently displays "Not Transmitted, ProSeries has detected a system change which invalidates the converted file contents. Please re-convert."

Yet there is a Technology Fee to make us pay more for a software without basic functionalities. (Like when you search for Preparer Notes in the "Where Do I Enter?" search and nothing is found. Yet manually searching the Miscellaneous Forms you can find it.)

It would be nice if it had a "Re-Convert" or "Retry" option. Once it gives you the error it will deselect all returns and will reset the HomeBase View. So have fun re-selecting your return(s) to resend. (Hopefully you're doing one at a time like myself to minimize this error's time waste).

That just means there been an update put out since you converted the files, so you need to update, then open each file and verify that the figures didn't change due to the update, save and reconvert in order to transmit.

Needlessly Redundant Solutions.
It is the standard process if running the current updated version.

1. Open the return again.
Click on EF Now.
Standard process: Save, select return and hope it does not happen again.

2. Without Re-Opening.

From the HomeBase View: Select EF Center. Go to "All" or "Pending" then search for your desired return(s).
Select the Federal and any states that may apply.
(You can hold Ctrl and then select multiple returns or you can hold Shift to select multiple returns in a row)
After having the return(s) selected you can then click on "EF Now" an "Electronic Filing Options" Prompt will appear.
Standard process again: Select the appropriate Convert/Transmit options. Select "Ok" and you're set. This will work without opening the return(s).

Recommend One return at a time. (Fed + State(s) on the same person is good)
