    Did you guys notice that there is not a space for the preparer to put a date on the 1040. or am I missing it.

    No, I did not notice that.  Looking at a 1040, I don't see a date line.

    I had not noticed it until you pointed out. But IRS website 1040 has no date either.....weird.
