Why am I getting a message that I need -- flash.ocx

Annabelle
Level 2

I get a pop up box upon closing my program - this program requires flash.ocx, which is not longer included in this version of windows.  So what do I do?

Good Morning Annabelle,

I did some research about this Flash.ocx file to see what it was and I found some information for you. I would suggest consulting local IT for a fix as this file is for Adobe Flash player. The information I found states that that your Flash player may have become corrupt and needs to be reinstalled. Below you will find two links, one to Microsoft speaking specifically about this issue and the other to Adobe doing the same.  This file is not a ProSeries file and other then the advice provided there would not be much more we would be able to assist with.

We apologize for this but hopefully one of the two links will provide you with a resolution.
