E-filing Superseded Returns in ProSeries

SOLVEDby Intuit81Updated 1 month ago

Beginning in tax year 2022, ProSeries supports the e-filing of superseding 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1041 and 1040 returns. A superseded return is a return filed subsequent to the originally-filed return and filed within the filing period. A superseded return does not expedite the processing of the corrected return. The program support filing superseded Federal and CA Returns only.

Superseded returns filed with a payment will not override the payment agreement made with the originally filed return. Both payment would be processed unless the filer calls to cancel one of the payments. To cancel a scheduled payment, call 1-888-353-4537.
