How do I print prior year amounts in a Paper Organizer?

Solution Description

To print the prior year amounts in a Paper Organizer:

  1. Click on the Clients tab (to view the list of your clients).
  2. Click on Tools.
  3. Select Organizer.
  4. Select Print Paper Organizer.
  5. Select the applicable Organizer that you want to print:
    • Complete Organizers
    • Condensed Organizers
    • Partial Organizers

  6. Highlight the clients under the Available Clients section. (To highlight multiple clients, hold down the Ctrl key and select the applicable clients.)

  7. Click on Add. (This will move the clients from the Available Clients section to the Selected Clients section.)
  8. Click on Print.
  9. Check the box, Display prior year amounts under the Organizer Print Options.

  10. Click OK.
  11. Select the applicable Printer from the Print Settings window.
  12. Click OK.

Once the Organizer is printed, the option will be saved and all future Organizers will have prior year amounts displayed.

Note: If you are a new Lacerte user and the prior year returns were converted from a different program, the prior year amounts will not flow to the Organizer.
