Using Intuit Link in ProSeries

SOLVEDby Intuit44Updated November 18, 2023

Intuit Link is a web-based tool that allows accountants to make real-time requests for questions and documentation across a secure server to their clients.

What can I do with Intuit Link?

With Intuit Link, accountants can:

  • Easily send the Tax Organizer (checklist and questionnaire) from ProSeries.
  • Capture all client tax data through a single portal.
  • Speed up your workflow by using one place to collect, track, and access client tax data and documents.
  • Use the Link Dashboard to see what's been requested, what's been received, and what's outstanding.
  • Safeguard the clients' data leveraging bank level security (256-bit encryption).

How do I use Intuit Link with ProSeries?

  1. Go to the Form 1040: Individual HomeBase.
  2. Locate the Intuit Link column.
  3. Select Invite next to the client to receive the invitation.
    • This will send the client data to Intuit Link. Continue with the steps below to send an invite to the client.
  4. Select Get Started to continue.
  5. Check the boxes for the information you want to send to Intuit Link and click Send.
    • Send Client Data (checked by default) - This will send the client's first and last name, email address, and mobile phone number to Intuit Link.
    • Create Checklist - This sends a checklist based on data from ProSeries.
    • Include Questionnaire - This sends a custom or the default questionnaire.
  6. Select Go to Link and sign in to accountant portal.

To send an invitation and all data requests to the client, click on the Send Draft Request button:
